 WINGFOIL:
RIGID BOARD OR INFLATABLE BOARD?

WHICH WINGFOIL BOARD TO CHOOSE?
RIGID BOARD OR INFLATABLE BOARD?

Since the very inception of wingfoiling, inflatable boards have always been an option. With the demand for inflatable boards on the rise, we decided to make full use of our extensive experience in developing and manufacturing the TAHE range of inflatable SUP boards and adapt the technology to create a brand-new inflatable wingfoil board: the Aria Air. What’s the difference between the inflatable and rigid Aria board and what are the advantages of each model you might ask. Read on to find out.

WHY CHOOSE
A RIGID ARIA?

The Aria 5'8 is made from our innovative Ace-Tec Technology lightweight and durable. This gives it optimum responsiveness, especially for riders looking for a bit of liveliness under their feet.

This new shape Made in France is opening the doors for wing foilers who want a rigid board at an affordable price.

The Aria 5'8'' is very stable, even when off the foil, allowing easy paddling and smooth lift off. Its compact shape (full nose outline and straight tail rocker) ensures the stability of the board without sacrificing its performance.

Multi-position deck inserts mean you can easily add footstraps. The narrower foot-strap placement is ideal for controlling the foil during powerful maneuver.

RIGID ARIA 5'8

The ARIA 5'8'' is one of the most exciting additions to our wing foil range. This wing foil board is manufactured in France, at our production site in Vannes. A first. This new shape is opening the doors for wing foilers who want a rigid board at an affordable price.

Featuring durable, lightweight ACE-TEC technology, this board is built to last. This is the result of our 40 years of experience in windsurfing.

WHY CHOOSE
AN INFLATABLE ARIA?

Once deflated and folded into its storage/carry bag, our Aria Air model takes up much less space than a rigid board, making transport and storage a breeze. If you don’t have much space at home, have a small car, or if you want to be able to travel lighter, you’ll love the inflatable Aria.

One of the Aria Air’s big advantages is its solid strength. The construction technology makes it very resistant to bumps and scratches and it’s very easy to repair.

Over time, inflatables wear out much more slowly than rigids, making them easier to resell and a solid option for clubs and schools.

Comfort is another important consideration when you’re choosing an inflatable board for learning to wingfoil.

You’ll appreciate the softness of the deck pad when you’re kneeling and the cushion for when you fall on your board.

Delivered with a set of footstraps, you can start learning without them while you pick up the basics and find the right foot position for you.

After that, and depending on how you’re progressing, the footstrap option will give you extra foot grip and leverage. They’re also useful in the light wind pumping sequence.

The wide carbon fiber plate on the hull gives this inflatable board excellent rigidity, perfect for a smooth take-off. Take-off is made even easier by the silicone band across the rear, improving glide and ensuring the Aria Air doesn’t stick to the water.

The carbon fiber plate helps give the Aria Air the same responsiveness as an equivalent rigid board.

INFLATABLE ARIA 6'2

The inflatable Aria 6'2" AIR has a shape and design similar to the rigid board Aria, with increased volume to give increased stability in flight and on the water.

Conceived for easy riding and to give advanced performance for more experienced riders. Its generous 140L volume means you can learn to Wingfoil in total confidence.
