Surfboard fins are designed to grip the wave to avoid the board slipping out from under you. Depending on the shape and size they also provide various performance benefits. We include fins with our surfboards which we consider optimal for each particular board, but it can be fun to experiment with different fins to create a different feel on the wave.

Surf leashes are an important piece of safety equipment and keep you connected to your board if you fall off. They also prevent your board from becoming a dangerous object that can injure others in the whitewater if loose. Choose a leash that is around the same length as your surfboard.
