THE ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES
FOR WINGFOILING

Wingfoiling doesn’t require a huge number of accessories, but there are a few that you’ll need. Before you set off to go sailing, make sure you’ve packed your pump for inflating your wing, your Aria Air board (or whatever you’re riding), and the spanner you need for assembling and mounting the foil on your board. Here’s a list of useful items that will help you maintain and protect your foil and your SFX rigid Aria board.

THE PUMP*

This accessory is always included when you purchase an Aria Air board or Alizé wing, but it’s not always included with other brands of wings. If you’re in the market for a pump, be sure the one you choose has the correct adaptor for inflating your wing.

Ideally, you’ll want a double-action pump with a pressure gauge, like the pump supplied with TAHE products, so you can inflate your wing quickly and to the correct PSI pressure as specified in the wing’s instructions. Avoid letting the pump tube and adaptor drag in the sand to prevent grains of sand from finding their way into your wing or board!

TEFLON GEL*

A small drop of Teflon Gel can be squeezed into all the inserts to fix your Aquilon foil to your board. It also helps prevent them from corroding or oxidizing when they come into contact with salt water. Use a small rod pin applicator to apply the gel deep into the inserts.

We always include a small “Tef Gel” kit in your foil pack so you can easily take care of your equipment.

TORX WRENCH/SCREWDRIVER*

This is one accessory you really mustn’t forget when you decide to go wingfoiling: the Torx M8 wrench that you need to assemble your foil. This is always included in the foil bag with the set of screws when you buy one of our Aquilon foils, but it can easily be lost or misplaced.

Remember to put it away properly in the box provided every time you assemble or disassemble your foil!

LA CLÉ TORX*

Voilà un accessoire qu'il ne faudra pas non plus oublier avant d'aller à l'eau : la clé Torx M8 qui vous permettra d'assembler votre foil. S'il est fourni avec le kit de vis dans la housse de nos foils Aquilon, cet outil peut se perdre ou s'égarer facilement.

Pensez à le ranger dans la boîte prévue à cet effet après avoir assemblé ou démonté votre foil !

FOIL BAG FOIL*

All our foils are sold in a padded zip-up 155 x 35 cm foil bag, with separate compartments for each component of the foil. This is very important, especially for protecting the carbon fiber wings, when you are transporting and storing the foil.

Try to always store the foil bag flat and avoid putting anything heavy on top of it.

BOARD BAG

While it’s true that our TAHE Aria SFX Bihax carbon fiber boards are renowned for their tough build, there is always the risk of damage occurring if you knock or drop your board when transporting or storing it. To avoid this, we strongly recommend that you protect the board with a properly adapted and padded board bag.

Ideally, it should have Velcro fasteners, but if you buy one with zip fasteners, make sure the zips are plasticized to avoid them corroding. TAHE board bags are coming in 2023!
